Signature Custom

Signature Custom boards follow a fixed, pre-designed layout based on the play set you select. Your child’s name is always placed at the centre of the board.

Where space allows, additional items such as the mirror and tap handle may be included, depending on the length of the name. This ensures the layout remains balanced, safe, and visually considered.

Design It Your Way

With Design It Your Way, each board layout is individually designed around the items you choose and the length of your child’s name. Every element is thoughtfully arranged to maximise play value, flow, and visual balance.

We take great care with every layout to create a busy board that feels cohesive, engaging, and truly one of a kind.

Mounting & Play Style

Our boards are designed for flexible toddler play. Ways to mount & play:

Flat on the floor for safe, independent play
Propped up with our handcrafted Wooden Stand
On a tabletop or safely leaning against a wall or window
Mounted with the included suction cups or adhesive strips for extra stability
Permanently wall-mounted with nails if you’d like a fixed play spot

Suction cups: Each board comes with suction cups on the back to help it stay steady when propped up on smooth surfaces like benches or windows.

Layouts are designed around your selections and your child’s name. Where space allows, we may include additional items that complement your chosen design. If you have any must-have items, simply note them in the additional information section and we’ll prioritise those first.

Can I change items or colours when choosing Signature Custom?

Signature Custom boards are pre-designed sets, so colours, items, and layouts can’t be changed. This allows us to create a beautifully balanced design while keeping the process simple and stress-free.

If you’d like full control over colours, backgrounds, and individual items, we recommend choosing Design It Your Way instead.

Every Little Hands Lab busy board is made to order and personalised just for your child. You can customise your board in one of two ways:

Signature Custom offers ready-made colour, item, and background combinations that are thoughtfully designed and loved by parents.

Design It Your Way unlocks full creative control, with access to over 20 colours, 8 background designs, and 60+ interactive play items.

For both options, you’ll choose your board size and add your child’s name to make it uniquely theirs.

Will I get to see how my board will look before it's made?

You’ll receive a personalised layout preview only if you choose Design It Your Way. If selected, we’ll email your custom layout within 24 hours of placing your order. You’ll have the opportunity to review the design and request adjustments before we begin crafting your board. Once the layout is approved, production begins and changes can no longer be made. To keep your order moving, if we don’t hear back within 48 hours, we’ll proceed using our recommended layout.

Opted for Priority Production? Reply to your preview email within 12 hours to request layout changes. Otherwise, we'll proceed with production to ensure your board ships within 48 hours.

Can I include a personal message or note with my order?

What happens if something breaks or comes loose?
